Principles of IT Management Training

The course alternates between theoretical presentations and personalized practical case studies. The course objectives are to:

a clear vision of multiple IT approaches, the points they have in common and their differences
practical advice on implementing them in conjunction with one another without redundancy or contradiction

The first part of the training will cover general areas of the IT function, the process-based approach, and the main frameworks on the market. It will also touch on the role of IT, the IT manager and its partners. Following that, candidates will learn insight on the consequences of using certain frameworks and the sensitive points in terms of implementing the different frameworks.

As of January 1, 2010, this training course will be available in French, in France and in all French-speaking countries. An international release with a greater choice of languages, including English, is scheduled for April 1 for countries such as United States, Canada, Africa, UK, the Benelux countries, Germany, Italy, Spain, and Hong Kong.

The ITMP Exam

An EXIN certificate shows you have mastered the concepts in Principles of IT Management. The exam consists of 20 multiple-choice questions, taken in 30 minutes. To be successful in the exam you must answer at least 65% correctly. No prerequisites are required.

ITMP is currently only available via ORSYP in French. They will arrange your training and exam. During the course of 2010, there will be a global release of the program.
